I am grateful for the Board District 3 voters’ confidence in supporting my re-election for a third term.
The victory resulted from the enormous efforts of so many teachers, parents, community members, endorsers, donors, and friends. It was a special honor to know that every weekend, over 130 teachers knocked on doors and spoke to voters about our work. And we had so many dedicated volunteers who contacted voters in many different ways.
All this hard work and support from so many has been humbling. I will honor the commitment of all who put their trust in me by remaining steadfast in my commitment to ensure that LAUSD offers the best opportunities for student learning and excellent teaching.
I am proud to represent some of the highest-performing schools in our District and the entire state. I will continue working to ensure an equitable distribution of resources to our Valley schools and throughout the District.
