  • Approved 25 Board District Priority and Region Priority Projects totaling $1,634,614 to improve school facilities, including upgrades, modernization, and safety enhancements, benefiting approximately 13,600 students. Included the following in BD3: Infant center furniture for Cleveland Infant Center, provide classroom furniture  for Holmes MS, provide classroom furniture and umbrellas for lunch table, Lawrence MS, install new secure entry system for Mulholland MS
  • Adopted of Instructional Materials for Universal Transitional Kindergarten – for 50 BD3 schools. Creative Curriculum selected because it aligned with California Preschool Learning Foundations,  UTK teachers expressed positive feedback during the review process and the curriculum is said to support social-emotional development.
