When Jeannie Kamm, our District Office Director, first heard that the Frost MS Little Theatre desperately needed an upgrade, she worked with Principal Elmer Choe and our Facilities team to determine what we could do to make a difference.
Working with the Facilities Team we were able to define the scope of work and BD3 was then able to secure the funding. Before you knew it, we were able to quickly get new paint, auditorium seating, flooring, and stage curtains for the Theatre.
Principal Elmer Choe was elated. “The improvements have really made our Little Theatre pop with vibrancy, it’s perfect for gatherings and performances! I was blown away by all of the support and I could really sense how much love, care, and commitment Board Member Schmerelson has for the Frost community.
Board Member Schmerelson said, “It was a pleasure to get this program funded. I believe it is so important to invest in our arts facilities. For many of our students participating in a drama program can really made a huge difference, especially impacting other areas of learning.”
