Ambrosia is a third generation Los Angeles native who grew up in Highland Park. She is a product of LAUSD schools and is a proud first generation college graduate of her family.
She pursued community college for three years while working for LAUSD as a teacher’s assistant in multiple classrooms.
Ambrosia then transferred to the University of California Davis as political science and history double major with a minor in film studies. While attending UC Davis, she worked at the State Department of Education in a research capacity before returning to Los Angeles and working for LAUSD.
Before joining the Board District 3 Team, Ambrosia held a variety of positions in LAUSD including working in Talent Acquisition and working as a classroom substitute.
Ambrosia is currently a math and science teacher at Roosevelt Middle School in Vista Unified School District and graduated from California State University of San Marcos’ Middle-Level Credential program.
Her hobbies include reading, playing video games, gardening, and getting outside as much as possible.
